About Wanda Taylor: Wanda Taylor is the author of both fiction and non-fiction books for adult and young readers. She is also a freelance journalist, filmmaker, and college instructor. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications such as Atlantic Books Today, Quill & Quire, Black2Business magazine, and Peak Magazine. Her poems and essays have also been published in anthologies across Canada, the US and the UK. Wanda Taylor teaches courses in journalism, story writing for media, and communications. She was a recipient of the Atlantic Journalism Association’s Communications Award for Journalism and is currently the mentor for the MFA Creative Nonfiction program at the University of King’s college. The author splits her time between Toronto and Halifax. Not only has the author and writing professor written across genres, she has also worked as a CBC producer, acquisition editor, social worker, stage manager, and documentary director. Wanda has lots to share with her readers and the world, and I’m confident a conversation with her will bring about many fascinating and inspiring stories for your audience as well.
